Never ceases to amuse me how the mists suddenly descend here, seemingly with little warning, and disapear almost as quickly.
SatScenes: Kite Surfing in the evening
The red flag was flying today on the beaches here which means, technically, anyone in their right mind probably doesnt go for their daily dip. I´m not in my right mind but I decided it was just a little too much white water even for me.
I wouldnt have minded learning to kite surf like these guys this evening!

SatScenes: A Late Night Walk
I was working most of the day trying to complete a last minute website. So, when it hit 23:15, I suddenly realised I had not done my SatScene. The answer came when I looked into the face of my small JRT who was feeling neglected and was badly in need of a walk. So we went for a late night walk along the beachfront and killed two birds with one stone.
I love walking at night – most especially along the seafront when the sea is a little rougher than usual. The waves crashing against the rocks is a wonderful sound.

SatScenes: New Mugs!
I love bright things – most especially mugs and dinner sets. The quirkier, funkier and more brightly coloured the better. There is a little store in the center of town which sells the most beautiful hand painted things – mugs, bowls, plates, tableware and, of course, plants pots.
Our new dinnerware set is a mismatch of all the designs in the store I like as I never liked things to be identical – much more interesting to have a different design on every single plate (all the same is just so dull!). Our latest addition are these wonderful mugs – each of which come with their own clay spoon in the handle holder. Cute! Purchased today – each mug cost €3 each!
SatScenes: A Morning Swim
The last week I have been offline has not been spent lazily – in fact quite the contrary. I have spent it walking the dog´s legs off, swimming twice a day in the ocean which is a spectacular 100 yards from my apartment (and can in fact be seen clearly from my balcony) and chasing Movistar for my internet connection – which they delivered, as promised, at a much faster rate. I have eaten out twice at two wonderful restaurants. We had a very non-Spanish curry in a nearby Indian Restaurant and some wonderful seafood at a seafront chiringuito.
