Today I purchased ingredients ready for a special meal tomorrow. Tomorrow we are having a local Spanish peasant soup with plenty of chickpeas, garlic, a special blend of dried vegetables (courtesy of El Corte Ingles) and a few local preserved meats thrown in for extra flavour (chorizo, morcilla etc)…
After which we will be having my very own recipe Goulash, largely inspired by a Chef I met whilst in Greece on vacation many years ago.
A fresh fruit salad follows for dessert (with a schnapps flavoured syrup)

Well, we eat late here in Spain. Dinner is served at 9pm :p (which is still significantly earlier than most locals!)
i’ll take that as a standing invite, so don’t be surprised if i show up one evening!
