The pasta with mushrooms was lovely – but I have to say my Manchester Tart was the real star of today
Looks good, Don’t think I have ever had Manchester Tart.
Having Roast Pork for my tea. Yum!
Manchester Tart is my favourite dessert. It goes back to my childhood days when they would serve it at school… or the family used to take me to the Bakery. There are actually a lot of versions – topped with coconut or chocolate (I prefer the latter)… some have a layer of banana like mine, and some dont.
Everyone claims their version is the original. I dont know whether my recipe is original or not, I just know its how I like it
