Its a little late but, as I am told often, these things are better late than never. It seems to be my life philosophy. Today was all about art appreciation. Not the kind you find in a stuffy Gallery, where self proclaimed critics attempt to persuade the tasteless masses that the blob of paint is actually a piece worth millions. No, I am speaking of art you will find anywhere – if only you take the time to open your eyes and really look.
There is a Graffiti artist who tours Torrevieja. You will find his works everywhere. I have never seen him and everyone I have spoken to has absolutely no idea who he is. But, on schedule, a piece of his work will suddenly appear. This particular piece is on the main street opposite Iceland. The photograph does not really do it justice – they are, well, beatiful. The detail is astonishing.

I have seen this artwork in Torrevieja but also artwork which looks similar along the coastal train route from Sitges to Barcelona, for the entire train journey there are beautiful sections of artwork, its a shame that such talent isn’t being put to a better use.
